CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's) are built to be used as an inspection machine to verify the accuracy of your Manufacturing process. In many cases, the CMM can be electronically linked to the machine or machines that are used in your Manufacturing Process so they can automatically transfer the inspection data for a particular manufactured part so the machine can be offset, if needed, to make the next work piece more accurately. Ultimately, the CMM is an Inspection Machine Tool that will give you written feedback to verify the accuracy of your manufacturing process and assist you in making any compensations necessary to stay within the Control Limits that are required for each job manufactured.
